1. Who we are

This website (“the Site”) and the digital books The Untold Wild and Back From the Edge (“the Books”) are published by Caleb Hollis (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using the Books you agree to these Terms.

2. What you are buying

The Books are downloadable digital books (PDF): The Untold Wild (118 pages) and the free companion Back From the Edge (70 pages), delivered together in a single order. Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to read and print the Books for your own household use, plus all future revisions of the same edition at no extra charge. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share the files or your library link.

3. Pricing & payment

• The price is $37, charged once. There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
• Payment is processed securely by our checkout provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

4. Delivery

Access is delivered by email — a link to your personal library page, where you can download the Books or read them in your browser, is sent to the address you provide at checkout. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and then contact us.

5. Refund policy

All sales are final. The Untold Wild is a digital product. It is described on this site as a set of digital books (PDF), and it is delivered to you by email after payment. Because the product is delivered in full as a digital download, it cannot be returned, and a change of mind after delivery is not a ground for refund.

We do issue refunds in these cases, within seven (7) days of purchase:

• Non-delivery. Your payment was taken but the books never reached you. Contact us and we will first re-send them to the address you provided; if we are unable to deliver them, we refund you in full.
• Duplicate or repeated charges. If you were charged more than once for the same order, every extra charge is refunded in full.
• Where the law requires it. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal — for example the 14-day right under EU and UK consumer law — that right applies to you regardless of anything above, and you may exercise it by contacting us. Note that where you have asked for immediate access to digital content, that statutory right may lawfully be waived at checkout.

Outside those cases we do not refund. Before you buy, this site states plainly that you are purchasing digital books (PDF) delivered by email. A purchase made on that basis, and delivered on that basis, has been fulfilled.

If something has gone wrong with your order, please contact us first — we answer every email and we would rather fix it than have you raise a dispute with your bank. Where a chargeback is filed on an order that was delivered, we will respond with the delivery record, the product description shown at checkout, and these terms.

To request a refund under any of the grounds above, reply to your receipt email or contact us at the address below.

6. General information & disclaimer

The Books tell the documented history of wildlife reintroductions, invasive species and land and water restoration, for general information. Their figures come from the published sources listed at the back of each book and were checked as of September 2026; animal counts, laws and programs change over time. They are not legal, financial, medical or professional land-management advice. Before removing plants, handling or relocating wildlife, using any herbicide, burning, or working in or near water, check the rules with your state wildlife agency, your county extension office or the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.

7. Intellectual property

All text, the covers, the name “Caleb Hollis”, and the titles The Untold Wild and Back From the Edge are our property and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized copying or redistribution is prohibited.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Books is limited to the amount you paid for them. The Books are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its “last updated” date.
